INTA Education are currently working with an established and well-known British International School to recruit for an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for August 2021.

It is a not-for-profit, parent owned school and is located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia (Borneo) and has gained an excellent reputation for delivering a high quality education for nearly 50 years. The school delivers a rigorous academic education for students aged 3 to 18, based on the English National Curriculum and the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programmes. Students participate in a wide range of sporting, performing arts and co-curricular activities. The school currently caters for around 400 students from 30 different nations and employs highly qualified, experienced international teaching staff. Students are highly motivated, hardworking and a pleasure to teach. The school offers a very friendly and supportive staff team, and strong links with parents and the local community.
The successful candidate for this role will have recognised teaching qualifications, a minimum of three years experience and demonstrated success teaching the (I)GCSE and A Level programmes.
About the City
Kota Kinabalu (commonly known as KK) is the capital of Malaysia’s Sabah state on the third largest island in the world, Borneo. It is a coastal city surrounded by rainforest. KK has some of the best beaches and diving spots in the world and is home to vast amounts of unique and endangered wildlife. Getting around is very easy and English is used in almost all restaurants, bars and shops. In the shadow of KK stands the beautiful Mont Kinabalu which is a 2 day climb for the adventurous hiker. There are also many jungle treks to go on, tribes and longhouses to visit and the mighty Kinabatangan river to explore. This is truly a magical place to live and work.
