INTA Education are currently working with an established and well-known British International School in Moscow to recruit for an enthusiastic and passionate Maths Teacher for August 2021.
About the School & Role
This British international school are searching for an enthusiastic and passionate maths teacher with either UK National Curriculum or IB experience. (Please also note that outstanding NQT’s will also be considered for this role).
This British International School was first established in 1994 and is a non–government educational institution.
Highly qualified teachers deliver the curriculum, ably assisted by Russian teachers and teaching assistants. The school has an excellent provision for English as an Additional language (EAL). Children of approximately 70 nationalities attend the school, bringing a unique richness and variety to the educational experience.
The class sizes are small and classrooms are well resourced with teaching and learning materials including excellent information technology provision, sports halls, libraries and well equipped science laboratories.
This school has a very high reputation in Moscow for the approach and quality of its education. They believe it should not just be about academic learning, but rather about the whole child and the school community. Over the past several years this school has consistently been one of the top performing international schools in the city, as can be seen from its students’ IB Diploma results.
Teachers are initially offered a two year contract, which can be extended by mutual agreement. Moscow is a vibrant city and the school has a very supportive environment, encouraging staff to enjoy the whole range of benefits the city has to offer.

What really gives Moscow its charm is that it is full of contrasts, from the ornately decorated boutique shops sitting next to Soviet style apartment blocks to the young and carefree hipsters mingling with the more rugged older generation. Moscow is home to some of the most photographed sites in the world including Red Square and the Kremlin. Once you have seen this more touristy side of the city, it is easy to keep yourself busy with the ever growing number of galleries, museums and restaurants. The more time you spend there the more you become familiar with the dynamic of the city and become aware of more local venues giving you a taste of the real Moscow off the beaten track.
