About the role
The Director of Student and Staff Wellbeing is the pastoral lead across the whole school with responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of social and emotional welfare for all students. The postholder is the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead and manages relationships with internal and external sources of additional support to students. Additionally, the Director of Student and Staff Wellbeing has oversight of the welfare of staff members, managing the whole school programme of Continuing Professional Development and liaising closely with the HR team to ensure all members of staff are appropriately supported emotionally and socially.
Teachers with up to date UK Curriculum experience are highly encouraged to apply, international teaching experience is desirable but not essential. Teachers must be creative in their teaching practice and up to date with the latest teaching trends with a desire to teach in a multicultural environment.
Candidates must have a teaching degree or PGCE from their home country as well as a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
